This year, the OBP Community Fund Inc. (“OBPCF”) was proud to gift $10,000 to The Ocean Bay Park Association to help offset costs for dune grass installation, a crucial part of preserving our fragile coastal ecosystem. With funds not fully covered by the Erosion Control District, this donation will help protect the natural beauty and integrity of Ocean Bay Park for generations to come. We are committed to continuing our fundraising efforts for this important project in 2025 and beyond, knowing how vital it is to maintain the delicate balance of our environment.

The OBP Community Fund, Inc. (“OBPCF”) is proud to partner with Island Harvest, helping to provide holiday meals to families, seniors, veterans and others in need.
This year, thanks to our generous community, we collected 667 pounds of non-perishable food donations, which in turn helped to fulfill 555 meals.

74 devices collected & distributed across high-risk communities
The OBP Community Fund, Inc. (“OBPCF”) is proud to partner with Secure the Call, helping to provide free 911 phones and tablets to Victims of Domestic Violence, Senior Citizen Centers, and other high-risk communities across the country.
Last year, thanks to our generous community and others, we collected 74 devices, which were distributed to many community partners around the US.

The OBP Community Fund, Inc. was created to support the safety and well-being of the Ocean Bay Park community on Fire Island. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, OBPCF focuses on enhancing public safety by providing critical resources for our first responders who work tirelessly to protect us. This Spring, we purchased portable spotlights that provide focused illumination in hazardous areas, allowing firefighters to see and be seen, navigate safely, and identify potential hazards during emergencies, especially in low-visibility conditions.

Donations from residents, businesses, and friends are essential to making these efforts possible. With your support, OBPCF ensures that our firefighters are better equipped to safeguard our community. Your contributions, which are tax-deductible, have a direct impact on both the safety and future of Ocean Bay Park, and we are truly grateful for your generosity.
